The Leland Report salutes our veterans, especially those who are no longer with us.  Walter, born on this day in 1918 was a close friend and mentor.  The General and I shared some stories together that I will always cherish.  Gone, but not forgotten.

On this Veterans Day, we also remember Remi J. Gits, Jr. and Edward Gits, Sr., former Lelanders, who are also gone but not forgotten.
