(Report by Jim) Power is still out in Leland but crews are working today. Here is another fine photo of the 2013 snow season which brought record accumulation to the area. A hearty thank you to the crews that had to work yesterday and today and probably into the weekend to restore power to the area. Meggen and Joel Petersen report that their power in Lake LeelanauĀ is also out and might not be restored until Sunday.

Enter the snow gauge contest below to make your guess. I doubt it will stay at 14″, but you never know.

(Report by Keith – 12/27/15)Ā  Power still out for many in the Grand Traverse Area including Leelanau County.Ā  We had power, but no cable.

I bet that generators are high on the priority list for late Christmas gifts this year.
