No doubt about it…  It’s a real winter day.  Visibility zero at times on the road and only one car without headlights.  Two degrees at get-up is the coldest so far this season, the record low is 10 below.  Not many people out today.

Growing up in Leland, I knew that beautiful yellow-painted home as the ‘Grandma Cordes’ home….where the mother of Ralph and Oswald Cordes lived. I was a friend of Ralph’s daughter Susan…..and enjoyed visiting Grandma’s home. Lots of warmth from those local connections!
