The temperature at sunrise was 37 degrees and the high today reached an astounding 38 degrees. No complaints… it’s above zero. Well, at least for awhile. The melt off happens fast, the problem is the ice that’s left after the temperature drops to below freezing… way below.
Yesterday the ice cover on the Great Lakes dropped to 83.9% from, 91% the day before.
BTW, I hate Daylight Savings Time, being a morning person, it’s just too dark in the morning and by the time we get to summer, its still light out when I go to bed. I have no idea what the benefits are.
Traverse Magazine is having another “RED HOT BEST!” Contest and I’ve been nominated for BEST WEATHERMAN.
