The promise was that it would be nice and sunny and it finally was at 4:30.  We wanted to go out on the lake, but that went south.  Anyway, Greater Downtown Leland this afternoon was curb to curb cars and people.  We hope tomorrow's thunderstorms will wait until we have crossed the bridge over the Carp River at noon.

Oh that poor tree - it sure is a fighter and it looks like it's winning at least a little bit! BTW - are there any plans for what's left of that great tree in town that had to come down?

Was lucky enough to spot Mr. B. and Biscuit today on the Live Harbor Cam (Manitou Transit cam).Looks like they were enjoying a sunny morning in the beach grass around Van's Beach.Can't wait to be there a week from today and see Mr. B. and Biscuit in the flesh!
