There are no fish shanties over by Houdek's Creek, I would have thought the ice would be just right by now.  People have been fishing, but no shanties.  Cold with enough wind to make it bone chilling, probably better than being in Chicago right now.

Must be that the smelt aren't at Houdek's either. Strange sight this time of year for sure.
