The Leland Report has been a little unsettled lately do to not having enough hours in the day. I even forgot to wish my wife a Happy Birthday on yesterday's post. Anyway, Biscuit and I made a visit to see Charlotte in Fishtown at the Tack & Jibe. You can visit Peter and Charlotte at www.tackandjibe.com.

Business is good in Leland, and businesses are flocking to the village. Leland boasts nine new businesses this season. Fishtown, main street, river street, and south main, all have new businesses.

“Leland is full”, reports Leland Chamber of Commerce president Rick Lahmann. “We only lost three businesses, and we gained nine.” “Leland has roughly 50 retail locations, and they are all full.” New stores include Tack & Jibe and Sporck Tile Art in Fishtown, Epiphany on the south end, and Roxane II, At The Lake, Fishtown Sail Co., Leelanau Outdoor Galore, Momentum and Lasting Impressions Antiques in the central business district.

	From Susan Och on 7/7/2010 Holding down the "Ctrl" button and then pushing the plus or minus button usually changed the size of the image and is quicker than finding the reading glasses.
