Leland's media exposure has brought a lot of visitors to town and to the beach. Is the beach crowded?.... certainly not like Coney Island or Oak Street Beach in Chicago, but I believe it's getting to be a destination. Finding a parking place is far more difficult than getting sand space. The Chicago to Mackinaw boat should be near the the Manitou Islands this evening.

	From LelandJo on 7/26/2010 Watched the boats from Sleeping Bear last evening and from home until too dark. A dozen or so out front of our house Monday 7:30 AM. So little wind, they will be here a while.
	From Windjammer on 7/26/2010 I could see 78 Mackinac racers from our deck at 7:30 this morning (Monday), spinnakers up in a light SE wind.
