Having a companion like Biscuit has been a real blessing, he loves the Jeep, he loves the boat and for the most part all the dogs he meets.  It's a given that he loves kids and anyone who feeds him a treat.  Actually he loves everyone.  There are classrooms of children across the country that have adopted him as a mascot.  What's interesting is that Leland has a lot of dogs that fit the same criteria, but Biscuit the dog has a blog.

The picture on the bottom are Fishtown in the morning.  It's a busy time with the boats going to the islands are being boarded, folks on bikes, walkers, runners and guys on the way to work stopping for a sandwich at the Cheese Shanty.  Oh and people walking dogs.

Or are the dogs walking people? Just a thought. First?

Biscuit is the best, no doubt. My dogs dream of meeting him someday. :)

Skies are just more beautiful in Leland!

Love seeing Biscuit here. He looks so much like our Bubbles whom we lost last week. She was a great dog and so was Bubbles. Seeing Biscuit is a pleasant reminder of her and it's great to see him as Leland's good will ambassador.

Was the top photo with the sailboats taken in autumn one year, or have your leaves started to change already?

The only color here is green! More green than we've had in a long time going into Augustus. Look behind Biscuit for an accurate color palate.

OK, can anyone explain the color change from blue to green. And, why are there sometimes a river of green within the blue. Inquiring minds want to know.

Dark blue is the deeper parts of the lake. Lighter green/tan are the shallows. You can see it pretty clearly in this post: http://www.lelandreport.com/Default.aspx?bid=1674
