Vol XV #190 – A Cloudy Leland Fishtown Day

In spite of the clouds over paradise, there was a lot of picture takers in Fishtown this early afternoon.  I was taking pictures of people taking pictures of people taking pictures.  And of course there are a lot of selfies.  Cellphone cameras have taken over the picture taking media.  Still, if you want to take a picture like the one… Read more »

Vol XV #188 – The Color of October On a Really Clear Day

On a clear day you can see forever.  It’s a time when you don’t have to explain why you call Big Blue… Big Blue.  And of course… a breath of fresh air.  Actually, we get a lot of fresh air here, but on a day like today, it’s really fresh and really clear and you can see forever.

Vol XV #187 – First Day of October Says Some Things Are Over

Vol XV #183 – A Cloudy Sunday in Leland with Biscuit, Leif and a Seagull

Every once in awhile there comes a day when you just don’t know what to take a picture of, so you just take a picture of something.    Here is Biscuit assuming the pose that made him famous on Leif’s Biscuit tile.

Vol XV #182 – Fishtown Sunrise and Later, a Van’s Beach Wedding

A special moment as the sun rises over Fishtown.  The sailboat could have had a little more wind to sail home with, but what a beautiful morning it was.  Wow!… and if you had planned a wedding on Van’s Beach in late September, how lucky can you get.  Congratulations to the bride and groom.
