The weekend rain cleared on Sunday just in time to walk up to the overlook at the Leelanau Conservancy’s Whaleback Natural Area. Sunlight danced on the waves. Yesterday Meggen helped her dad move his boat around from Leland to Elk Rapids for winter storage. It was a beautiful day for leaf-peeping, including from the water!

I took Center Hwy down to Traverse City to get some things and shot some on the way there an on the way back.
