Vol XVI – #090 – Meggen’s Monday

Today started off with a magnificent clear sky. A perfect summer day. Yesterday, I explored Fishtown from the water. The first two photos are mermaid moments. Then, last night we kicked off the summer with the first Sunday Night Sing. The third photo honors a line from a favorite tune: “…the afterglow when the sun has set, these are things I’ll never… Read more »

Vol XVI # 069 – Meggen’s Monday

Clear skies this morning offered a delightful reprieve from the weekend’s rain and clouds: blue skies over Fishtown. Vol XV #245 – Why Did the Joy Cross the Road?

(Today’s report is from Jim) Our eyes in Leland alerted us about the effort to move the Joy to Stander Marine for some needed R&R (Repaint and Refurbish). Wind died down today and the sun came out for the rest of the afternoon. An all-around Leland day. Don’t forget about 20% off everything on the store through Monday. Use coupon code “biscuitdog”… Read more »

Vol XV #197 – A Summer Day in October

Today was as middle of summer as you could get. A top down day with parking spaces at a premium.  Lots of folks in Fishtown.  A real keeper, but… this mornings weather forecast (Weather Channel) claims that snow will fall east of Grand Traverse Bay excluding Leelanau County 7 or 8 days from now as well as the upper… Read more »
