(Report by Jim Burnham)
A
nother grey and rainy day, but a little warmer. Met for lunch with the Meggen’s Monday crew at Market 22 on Little Traverse Lake (great pizza, thanks Paul!). Capt. Joel Petersen tells us the dredger, being delivered OTR from Tennesee (corrected) Greenbush, MI, is only delayed by road weight restrictions in Michigan. Springtime thawing makes the roads spongy and prone to sinking under heavy weight. Stay tuned.

I got close yesterday with the photos. I thought I would get closer today. There are patterns in nature that you can sometimes only find on a rainy day (See the skull below). But at least today I didn’t need my hand-warmers.
