Looking at the North end of the lake today, there is still a small pocket of slush that will probably be gone by tomorrow. Today’s temps were in the lower 70s, but by 4pm the temperature dropped to 50. The ice on the breakwall in the photo below is slowly disappearing as well. The lines of sand come from the heavy waves that bring it up from the edge of the wall and deposit it on top where it freezes in place. The dredging barge should be running again as the entry to the harbor is a bit clogged again.

On a side note, Rick Lahmann at Reflections in Fishtown is a friend of the Leland Report and a great guy. I came across a Yelp review that broke my heart. It is one star and the only review for the store. If you have been to Reflections, please take the time to leave Rick an honest review to offset this extremely biased one.
