(Report by Jim)
Travel day up to Leland yesterday. I wanted to get here earlier in the evening, but fate has a way of ruining things for me. I had errands to run in the morning and when I went to put my registration sticker on my trailer plate, I found someone had stolen the plate. I spend over an hour at the DMV getting a new one. Then, I missed the exit onto 196 from 94 and was halfway to 131 before I realized it. I got to Big Sable Lighthouse right when the sun set. Seeing as it is a 1.5 mile WALK up to the light, I was lucky to get what I got on my first trip. I walked the last half mile up and down the dunes. I got out of Ludington at 11:30pm with another 2 hours up to Leland.
St. Wenseslaus chicken dinner is today (see below). I also picked up a kayak, so there will be more photos from the water on that. Back in my happy place!
So happy for you Jim!
