A cool and rainy get-up after an all night rain. A good day to go fishing and it was for this family this morning. Fishtown was a busy place
No doubt about it, Nels could host his own show. He showed Master Chef Mario Batali that he too was a master of his trade. We all knew that. This morning on the dock a least a dozen fisherman were hauling in the bass. No one went home with an empty cooler.
Not a great day, but started out ok.
A beautiful Leelanau day. So far it’s been a very nice Spring.
It’s June! 36 degrees this morning, sunny, blue skies. Last night we were delighted to run into Captain Tony Radjenovich collecting alewives for bait fish in the harbor, just before sunset

Our morning began with an overcast sky and the threat of rain. A early afternoon gift of partial sunshine lightened our day, but the clouds returned along with the promise of rain.
