(Report by Jim)The wind has been blowing hard in Leland and the cable is out so I am publishing the Leland Report right now. It probably will be updated later. The photo is from three years ago on the same date. WHEN THERE WAS SNOW. And lots of it. Hopefully posting this will help.

Good news department: Authorities in Illinois have located the wayward teens that ran away from their families in Empire. Bill Roth was certain the many social media shares that it generated had a lot to do with his daughter and her friend being found safe. Thanks for everyone’s help with getting out the word.

(Report by Keith – 12/27/15) Cable finally returned and the pictures from 12/24 are posted. The wind overnight gusted to 79 mph in Leland and took out the electric and cable for many.
