I am back in Illinois, but on the way down I stopped at some of my favorite places. Pointe Betsie, Arcadia Marsh, and Big Sable Lighthouse. Pointe Betsie was pretty crowded, so I parked back by the nature conservancy trail and walked around the dunes. I always stop at this twisted pine deadfall on the way back. My daughter came up for a week to visit and brought her pickleball paddle. Wouldn’t you know it, there are courts in Leland now at Hancock Field!
