Beautiful night last night for fireworks in Leland. The lake looked like a city as everyone come out near Brady’s Point to watch the show. Since you really can’t take decent long exposures with a tripod on a boat, I went full random as usual with every explosion. I always get a few that are notable. It was also a great day for tubing and floating and parades. Happy 4th of July!
Check out the “Relativity” art show at the Old Art Building on Friday 7/6 12-8pm and 7/7 10-5pm. Reception at 5:30 on Friday. Also look for Gene Rantz in Northport next weekend.
From memory: We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal. That they endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. That among these rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. I remember much more but I hope I got it all right thus far. Enjoy those rights. May we always have them. All Blessings to all.
Great pics! Looks like a fun time in the Land of Delight!
Certainly looks like people enjoying the 4th.
What else to do in Leland?
