It’s February and Winter is going to be around for another month and a half. We already have had over 100 inches fall and could easily have a 100 more. The County Road Commission was busy working today on north Lake street. There are a lot of really old scraggly giant trees that probably should come down. .

On a quiet Monday morning, plenty of activity in this part of the county: tree removal in Leland and a yurt under construction in Lake Leelanau.
