No doubt about it… this has to be the worst day of the season with the wind blowing at over 30 mph, periods of lake effect snow and visibility near zero at times. Drove to Lake Leelanau for recycling in a total whiteout. Amazing how many cars have no headlights and I thought it was mandatory. The scary cars are white and appear at your front bumper as if someone threw a switch. As the main picture suggests, there were times of dry and clear, but not many. I remember when as a very young child in about the 3rd grade art class handing in a blank sheet of paper. My teacher inquired as what it was. I responded that it was a picture of Bing Crosby wearing a white suit, singing “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” on a snow caped mountain during a snow storm. That wasn’t original with me as I had seen it somewhere in the comics. I don’t remember her reaction, I do know I didn’t get an “A” in Art and for that matter probably an “B” or “C” either.

great story! Messy weather for sure…even down here yesterday.
And I thought that some of your earlier pix looked like winter.
