A system snow moved in from across Big Blue and so far 3 inches have fallen with a total 6 predicted. The wind has died down a bit.

The story below first appeared on the Leland Report on December 16th, 2004, 12 years ago and has been featured each year since. I was on the bridge taking a picture of the old boat house and turned to see Bob and Judy walking toward me, took the picture knowing it would be a keeper and… so it has. Stonehouse Bread is now located in Traverse City having been sold many years ago, but will always be part of our Leland Christmas spirit.

This Judy always wishes she had known Stonehouse Bread in Leland and Bob, before it moved on. Thanks for sharing, Mr. B. 🙂
Thank you. Truly enjoy the daily posts. Biscuit blends in nicely with the sand and snow next to Big Blue.
Love the Christmas traditions!!
Judging by your pix, the warning came a bit late.
Thanks Keith. I love this annual remembrance. A ritual of the Christmas season.
