Otherside Lift -5345

It’s not every day you get to see a building fly through the air. Last Thursday, Dec. 3rd, the Biggs Contruction – Team Elmers – Kasson Contractors group of professionals succeeded in relocating the “Otherside Shanty” to dry land so the foundation can be refurbished and elevated safely above the high water mark. It was quite an orchestration. Fishtown Preservation has been diligently caring for these historic shanties – to make a contribution head over to www.fishtownmi.org.

It’s amazing… what was under it? It looks like just water?
