While winter is raging havoc on the east coast the Land of Delight is enjoying a beautiful day.
Most of this winter’s snow has melted away with the above 32 degree temperatures we had this past week. But as the pictures below show… Winter Ain’t Over Till it’s Over!
Fog moved into the lakeside around noon, blue sky and sunshine returned in the afternoon.
All I can say is… It’s a beautiful day!
The weather stations warned of high winds with gusts of 40 mph for downhill from the bluff Sunday. The wind howled overnight and this morning indeed gusted 40+. The sun took over around noon, the temperature rose to 40 degrees. Tomorrow… wind and rain.
The above freezing temperatures are rapidly melting the snow.
Every other day warming is slowly melting the shoreline.
After yesterdays near 50 degrees temperature, todays high of 26 felt like 26 below. This hasn’t been the coldest nor the snowiest winter this part of the world has ever experienced, it’s just been too wintery.
