Took a tour of some out of the way roads I’ve not traveled on for some time. Leelanau Country is rich in farm beauty. I retired in 1988 from Case IH after working 31 years at the International Harvester Farm Equipment Research and Engineering Center located west of Chicago on 500 acres of experimental farmland. I enjoy touring the back roads and seeing in many cases century old farmsteads, some with original barns.

I’ve spent so much of my time lately in Fishtown having neglected the beauty of the rural back roads and farms.

Some great shots for the 2018 calendar? Hey, speaking of calendars, my daughter has been providing my LR every Christmas since Jim started publishing them. Hey kid, if you’re reading this… hint, hint!
