“Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

After my first time without a tripod at a fireworks show, I was hooked. What came out of my camera after moving the camera around while the fireworks exploded was nothing short of fascinating. If you take normal fireworks shots, you might get a lot that look different, but they are all pretty similar. Using the technique, not a single one is the same. Of course, there are more throw-aways than keepers, but the keepers are spectacular and unique. These were all taken while sitting in a boat near Brady’s Point during the Leland Fireworks on July 3rd.

The collection I have will be turned into tri or quadtychs that I plan to in the future. To see more, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqJqIWegqBA

Gene Rantz’s show is happening the Village Arts Building in Northport this weekend. For times and location, see below. VVV
