For today’s Monday, we travel to Buckley, a community about a 45 minute drive to the south. This area springs to life each August for the Buckley Old Engine Show. The Good Captain and I paid a visit yesterday for the first time. Tractors too numerous to count… old engines belching black smoke… an operating sawmill… a whole barn full of wood working tools and lathes… an oil well engine… water pumps… and a generous amount of nostalgia. Here are a few photos from Sunday, before it rained. A highlight was the noon whistles – about twenty different fog horns, train horns, and everything in between.

What fun! Glad you enjoyed….
I need to check that out sometime.
Heard its a good one.
It must have been a chore in deciding which of these old beauties to photograph.
I’d say you did well, though!
