It was a very quiet and calm morning on the beach with a little drizzle in the air.  Gee, I think I said that yesterday.  We had a nice overnight rain and the was fresh and clean, actually the air is fresh and clean every morning.  Today must be Biscuit’s day because he’s in every photo except the aerial.  At the moment the sun is shinning brightly.

Just because we don’t see Biscuit, doesn’t mean he’s not in the aerial shot…

All fine photos. The aerial shot is my favorite for a special reason. I am a certified glider pilot with about 850 +/- flights. Longest flight 120 miles. Highest about 8500 feet. I liked flying with the summer cumulus “marshmallow” clouds which give you vertical left. The best flights in terms of seeing the great views of the earth below were at 2000 to 3000 feet or lower. Much lower was great if you were near our gliderport (Sandhill Club or Richmond Field Gliderport). If you were far afield it was time to find a level hayfield or a cut… Read more »
