Monday Autumn-4711

Fall has arrived, along with its clouds to capture an amazing play of light in the late afternoon, in between rain showers. The maples have started to turn that sweet read in earnest. Salmon are attempting the annual jump up the dam in Leland, to the chorus of “ooh!” from onlookers. Today, the Joy’s crew pulled the last two nets from the water, concluding a season that can best be described as disappointing (per Capt. Joel). So I turn the camera toward the sky, the turning leaves, the high-contrast clouds, and simply notice the season gracefully shifting.

Thus ends a disappointing fishing season on the Joy

The nice clouds do not make up for lousy fishing.
