Another nice beginning to a late April day, but on the cool side. Not a ripple on Carp River, providing a mirror image of the Library and Museum. South Beach was host to the Saturday Rockers. The afternoon became clouded over and rain is promised for tomorrow.
No surprise this morning waking up to 10 inches of new. The real surprise was that it wasn’t as bad as the weather reports all day long predicted. A mostly cloudy morning slowly became a mostly sunny day and what a nice calm day it turned out to be. A few damp and rainy days are behind us with hope that the next precipitation will be in the form of snow flakes. The leaves should be turning soon and maybe by next weekend the leaf peepers will have something to peep at. Below, the museum is showing progress with it’s new addition.
