  Yesterday Meggen helped her dad move his boat around from Leland to Elk Rapids for winter storage. It was a beautiful day for leaf-peeping, including from the water!

Vol XV #201 – Looking For Color in all the Right Places

  The morning began with incredible cloud formations to the east over Lake Leelanau.  The ever changing sky continued all day.  This weekend the “Peepers” should be rewarded with color that gets better as the day gets longer.

  Fall colors are on their way. While we still have several days before it might be considered “peak color,” there are pockets of oranges and yellows already. Mild temps make this an outstanding time to be outside.
