We had a very quiet, no delay trip up from Illinois today. (It helps when you leave at 5:30 am). The cold hit there as well, dropping down below freezing overnight. The cold weather seems to have started the color changing in earnest. But only inland, the photo above was just north of Big Rapids on 131. The color near the big lake always follows though, so I am hoping for some nice shots next week. That is if the rain holds off. It looks like steady rain until Monday afternoon. The waves at Vans were nice as always, and the Cormorants were more than willing to pose.
As always, I so enjoy seeing the photos from your Dad and you. Meant to reply a day or so ago to let Keith know, his photos are great and well appreciated no matter how or where he takes them, seated in the Jeep or from his home window or porch. Hoping he stays as well as possible. AND the best to your mom, you , your siblings and all their families as well – I’ve enjoyed seeing info and remarks about or from you all over these past years.
Good shots….thanks Jim for sharing!
