The two hikes this week at Sleeping Bear Point was so productive, I had more to show. The main photo tonight is the trail marker on the dune down to the lake. It has to be that high in order to see in from down on the beach. High waves erased the two scenes below. Although I have kayaked around that area a couple times over the last year, this was the first time I’ve hiked down this trail. The loop has spectacular views. I suggest going when the waves are light, or wear waterproof hiking boots, if not waders. I’ll probably be somewhere new again tomorrow (at least for me), stay tuned.
