I’m back up for the week so I took the sunny and unseasonably warm day to tour the area for some color in the Leland Report jeep. Yes, no back tire, but it’s flat, so really doesn’t do any good. Anyway, there is a busted hinge pin back there and the tire wasn’t helping. It looks like between peak and slightly past peak in the peninsula. The photo above is on Bay Hill, with all the building going on there lately, this view might belong to someone else in the near future.
I love when the color pops out behind the evergreens!
This stretch in Northport is one of my favorites for shadow casts, and the dichotomy of the trees is just icing on the cake.
The 2023 Leland Report Calendar is currently at the printers and I expect to ship by the end of this October. We no longer post every day, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have images to share. We thank you for your support as you make this worthwhile for us. I am limiting the printing to 200 calendars this year, so be sure to order yours soon, it is likely to sell out and not be available in January.

Thank you for capturing the gorgeous Fall colors, sugar maples are especially nice!!
The splotch of red in the 1st one was especially nice to see!
Color last week while I was visiting was astounding, even in the grey rainy weather! Sorry you missed it – alot of it blew off in the wind…..
Startling color in your photographs is beautiful. Many thanks once again.
Love the red among the evergreens
