  The kind of a day that started out dark and gray… but didn’t stay that way. Mid-afternoon the sky began to blue.  Forecast for tomorrow calls colder temperatures and possible snow.     .    

Vol XVII – #297 – Not the Best Day to Take Pictures

h Woke up this morning to power outages and school closings due to overnight icy conditions.  Leelanau County was spared the outages.  Thursday and Friday, temperature to return to upper 30’s and 40’s.       .    

Vol XVII – #294 – It Started Out as a Sunny Day

  40 degrees and partly cloudy.  With the lake frozen over and the snow cover melting, ice boating and fishing will take over some of the winter activities.     .
