The Windy City (Chicago & Suburbs) got 16 inches in one of those 100 year storms. Leelanau County was on the edge of that system and got variable results. Our Sutton’s Bay reporter, Leif, claims 6.5 inches while Leland at best, maybe 1.5 inches. The wind finally came to a halt and it’s snowing south of us. Radar shows a system moving to the northeast and we are on the fringe. it’s supposed to be snowing here, but at the moment I don’t see anything here in Leland yet.
The wind roared all last night and sounded like a train rolling through. The sun now shines but wind still blows.
The wind rules again today and the lights are flickering. We are on our way to the Big City By the Bay.
