Vol. XX – #140 – Meggen’s Monday

  The play of light in the pre-dawn hour has long been one of my favorite times of day. This morning, dragon’s breath mist hung over a nearby meadow, and clouds caught the oranging light. It promises to be a remarkably beautiful mid-August day.

Fall colors are beginning to emerge here and there, especially the maples. With overcast skies above, and still some blue open sky visible on the horizon, it’s a classic (early) fall day.
