A few sprinkles left over from the overnight rain greeted the sunrise.  Small pockets of blue provided an occasional splash of sunshine.  It was an mostly cloudy and breezy day.  Fishtown and Greater Downtown Leland were crowded with Fall Frenzy people.

Managed to get to town today. Like Keith said: cloudy and crowded. But the colors were really good although muted because of no sun. Went to the Cove for lunch after a neat poetry reading at the Library (bias disclosure: daughter-in-law was one of the poets). Had my first Chubby Mary! Remarkable!! And today the glass it came in — after washing, of course — was a free gift from the Cove because this was its last day for the season.
