I had no idea the mouth of the harbor is in such dire need of dredging. Can’t the DNR or Army Corp. of Engineers dredge?
Doesn’t look like that is going to be a reality. Too many other harbors in need. Even if they could, there is no guarantee they will be back. The last dredging two years ago was a complete failure because they dumped the sand so close to the mouth of the harbor. It all got blown back in. This dredger will guarantee an open harbor for decades to come.
