(Report by Jim) There was sun today! Didn’t see it? I almost didn’t, either! I went down to Sleeping Bear Dunes to see if anyone was sledding, found a few post-christmas sledders and some blue sky. It didn’t last long, however, but it was enough.

It’s been a couple of dark and windy days but blue sky do I see. Looking north from South Beach you can see the beach covered with stones, a rocker’s paradise. The transition from fair skies to cloudy was very visual. Looking north at blue sky with wispy white clouds and looking south at dark and dense. The above picture shows you what was in between.
