View from Whitefish Point Lighthouse, across Lake Superior with Canada in the distance
Top photo is the afterglow of the sun setting on a great weekend, Good Harbor bay. The other three photos are from Meggen’s drive to the UP over the weekend. Just a 4-hour drive north of our “up north,” to the shores of Lake Superior. I drove as far as the small town of Paradise, and on Saturday covered the remaining distance on foot (google Whitefish Point Marathon). Across the entire region it was a sunny, refreshing weekend.

Whitefish Point Lighthouse, built during the Abraham Lincoln administration, and still in service.

Tahquamenon Falls, near Paradise, Michigan (Upper Peninsula). 3,000+ gallons/second tumble over these falls.
Great photos ! Thanks !
Beautiful photos!
