It’s that time again when I think of Louis Marshall “Grandpa” Jones. From one of his hits around 1950:
For years and years folks got along with an old grandfather clock
Or just a common old sundial, sittin’ out on a rock
Then the dollar watch, it had it’s day
And the wrist watch, it was fine
Then along came a man that ruined it all
with Daylight Saving Time!
