Dune Climb-8171

There’s something marvelous about a visit to the Dune Climb at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, no matter how many times you may have visited before. I had the privilege of taking my dad along with three boys, 12, 12, and 14, to run and tumble and jump, some of us moving faster than others. Sand went everywhere. “Auntie M,” they asked, “what about getting sand in your car?” “Oh, I have a vacuum cleaner…” I responded. There’s simply no such thing as too much sand during the summer season. Plus, it’s usually accompanied by giggles and laughs.
