As you can see, someone got to drive the red jeep and it wasn’t me! My daughter and I headed inland to find some color. There is some down 667 through Maple City and M72 heading into Traverse City, but it rained most of the time, even sleeted some. I’m here the right week, though! Glad I didn’t come up last week. Last year we were here a week after peak. It’s coming though, and based on the sheer number of people crowding Leland yesterday, there are a lot of people counting on it. At the time of posting this, I see blue sky! I might head out again.
