(Report by Jim)

As the weather was especially beautiful this week, we are continuing with the floating theme. Yesterday was a sunset float on a 70s Cape Dory sailboat in Suttons Bay. Most of today was installing a new radio in my boat. Fortunately, the weather was gray. What a great week of weather! We also found out that because of COVID-19, the Leland Yacht Club will not have Barbecruise in the picnic and barbecue form this year, but an afternoon cruise around the lake instead. This is the first cancellation since inception 60 years ago, and everyone thought it would eventually happen because of the weather! Well, it was a storm, I guess. Below, some finds from my kayak trip behind Whaleback, including a Frankfort Green!

Gorgeous pictures and thanks. Might try floating while listening to “Venetian Boat Song” by Mendelssohn played quietly. 🙂 Bob
