Out on the X-Country trails again today! This time it was Palmer Woods down near Glen Arbor on Wheeler Road. These trails have a much better base with some well established grooves. There are some gentle uphill climbs and some steeper downhills depending on which direction you take. I went in numerical order for a total of 5 miles. 
On the way back, I stopped at Fudgie Beach along with everyone else it seems to enjoy the nice smooth ice. There were skaters and ice boats and even hybrid skaters with windsurfer sails. Even this cute guy was enjoying watching everyone fly around.
Kaitlyn and her son Gardner were enjoying their first ski at Palmer Woods. Gardner was looking for a downhill run, and with Price Valley Trail, you may have to trudge up for a mile, but the trip down smooth sailing.
