After yesterday’s drama, it was nice to have a quiet day on the lake with no paddling. We took a leisurely cruise down the river to the dam and back and then out around the lake. I set up a canvas storage covering for my sailboat, ready to go out next month. I just have to remember to bring the sails this time.
As a child growing up in Leland, I loved time both on Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan. Now living in the desert home of New Mexico, I love seeing your posts!
