We got to go visit an observatory, well, sort of. When I saw I was shipping a calendar to the McDonald Observatory in Fort Davis, TX, I had to ask the recipient to send me a picture of the calendar with the observatory. This is Steve Janowieki, who got a calendar for his parents in Suttons Bay. Steve is an astronomer and the Science Operations Manager for the Hobby-Eberly Telescope, the largest optical telescope in North America! Thank you for the invitation to tour the place, I am certainly going to take you up on that when things are back to normal. As an astronomy buff, I couldn’t turn that down.
