Jim, your father and your family have played such an important role in our connection with Leelanau. My family has history there, specifically in Northport, for many decades prior to the last permanent residents in our clan passing away. In the early 200s and beyond, before social media and even after, The Leland Report was my way of keeping a connection with the peninsula during the months when I can’t be there. biscuit were always enjoyed so much!! Been coming to Leland since 1970 to me it’s my happy place..my brother told me about it said you have to go he so loved it and he to has passed ..he got his pic taken with Biscuit..I don’t think I can make the celebration of life for Keith but my thoughts will be there & good wishes will be with the whole family & friends!!!
I have thought of your family so often and when I have, I’ve said a prayer that whomever might need to feel comforted, or need a memory to make them smile…that they’d receive it. Your dad and the Leland Report…and of course, Biscuit, meant the world to me. It was this ongoing connection between our lives here in St. Augustine, and a place and area we love so much. We will not yet be in Leland for the Cekebration for your Dad, but our thoughts, prayers, and laughter-juju will be sent tou all of you .Peace and Light
