The developing morning sky had great promise, for 5 minutes anyway. The sky turned gray and stayed that way… all day. .
40 degrees and partly cloudy. With the lake frozen over and the snow cover melting, ice boating and fishing will take over some of the winter activities. .

With a strong off shore wind blowing, I managed to get down to South beach. Getting back up took a little more effort. There is a promise of warmer (38 degrees) on Wednesday next week. As shown below, our Road Commission has been keeping our hiways and byways clean.
